About the Company

ORA is a house of consumer healthcare brands aiming to build a core shared technology and services layer. The core thesis here is that demographic-focused digital clinics can leverage a shared technology and services platform to provide a differentiated and comprehensive care experience for patients seeking care for a wide variety of conditions.

ORA has built 3 brands across 3 markets in less than 2 years and we’re ready to accelerate our growth. What has traditionally been a continuous improvement stream instead of BAU now needs to be developed into something more scalable, more sustainable and more structured.

Being practically unconstrained in the opportunities we can go after is core to ORA’ nature. While this is a great position to be in when everything is possible, prioritisation can become extremely challenging. Time is our most scarce resource and optionality is our biggest distraction.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join ORA’s dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of consumer healthcare. In this role, you will design digital experiences that drive user engagement and optimize conversions across both e-commerce and healthcare platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build seamless mobile apps, enhance service design, and ensure a consistent, visually appealing user interface. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong UX/UI skills, a passion for user research, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Job Responsibilities

  • Design for Conversion Optimization: Analyze user behavior and develop design solutions to improve conversion rates on the website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Mobile App Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design a user-friendly mobile application that integrates commerce functions and treatment monitoring, prioritizing UX throughout the design process.
  • UI Implementation: Apply brand guidelines consistently across all designs, ensuring visual coherence and alignment with our brand identity.
  • Service Design Integration: Contribute to service design initiatives by understanding user journeys and touchpoints, enhancing the overall user experience for both treatment-based and e-commerce products.
  • Design Handover: Prepare detailed design specifications and assets for engineers, facilitating a smooth handover process and ensuring accurate implementation of designs.
  • Business Acumen: Understand the complexities of our dual business model—treatment-based products requiring medical oversight and non-prescription e-commerce—tailoring design solutions accordingly.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions, iterating on designs based on feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliver high-quality designs on time.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product design, preferably in e-commerce or health tech sectors.
  • UX/UI Skills: Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user experience design and user interface design, focusing on conversion rate optimization.
  • Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
  • Service Design Knowledge: Understanding of service design principles and user journey mapping.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and a basic understanding of front-end development processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and user feedback for informed design decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Adaptability: A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets, particularly Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, is a plus.
