Today, more than 56 million families are affected by life-limiting illnesses, and every day they pay the price of an overwhelmingly costly, neglected, inequitable, and inefficient care space. With the rapid aging of the world's population and the ever-growing resource constraints of the healthcare systems, moving towards digital care solutions is inevitable. And we happen to be there at the right place, right time, ready to disrupt and redefine palliative care.
At Pal, we are laying the groundwork to become the leading provider of digital palliative care in the home setting. We’re starting with an app that brings (chosen) families together to better care for their loved ones and manage their core fundamental needs - care planning, symptom monitoring, and up-skilling.
We are born out of Amsterdam, and less than a year old. So far, we’ve received funding and support from early-stage VC Antler, have built an early version of our product, and are currently testing our product with a closed group of users. We are now accepting internship/working student applications across a number of fields and are looking for passionate people to join our team.

We are also looking for individuals with specialised backgrounds:
Technical interns/working students who can support with web & software development, product road mapping & design.
Medical interns/working students who can support medical research and content creation.
*For full-time internship positions, you must be available for a duration of at least 3 months (40 hrs/week)
**For Part-time working student positions, you must be available for a duration of at least 6 months. (8-20 hrs/week)
What you’ll need
Must-have:
Empathy.
Interest in the space we are innovating in and the problem we’re solving.
Proactive, with a can-do and hands-on attitude.
Great communication skills.
Valid European residency, and enrolled in higher education for the full duration of the internship/working student.
Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, and execution focused
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Highly collaborative and team-oriented.
Really really nice-to-have:
Any previous internships in similar fields.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
