We're hiring a customer person who shapes the product, not a product person who talks to customers. Someone who can walk out of a meeting with a Nordic CEO, distill what actually matters, and turn that into something the product team can ship next week.

ABOUT PALDO

Paldo is building the early warning system for competitive strategy. Our platform detects competitor moves 6 to 12 weeks before they become public by monitoring weak operational signals: hiring patterns, registry filings, domain changes, leadership shifts.

Most companies find out about competitive moves from press releases. By then it's too late. We're building the infrastructure that lets leadership teams see around corners.

We're a funded pre-seed company based in Norway and the UK. Revenue has grown 3x since year start, with double-digit paying customers including enterprise logos across insurance, media, and industrial sectors. Our clients are PE-backed Nordic B2B companies, and the people using our product are CEOs, CFOs, Heads of Strategy, and M&A leads.

THE ROLE

This is an early-stage startup. There is no playbook, no established process, no team to hand things off to. You'll be building from scratch.

The role spans three functions: customer, product, and commercial. You'll be the primary face of Paldo to our clients. You'll run onboarding, conduct deep discovery calls, understand what keeps Nordic executives up at night, and translate those insights into product priorities alongside our CTO.

You'll also own account expansion. This is not a support role. It's a strategic, revenue-generating position with direct influence on what we build and who we build it for.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own every customer relationship end-to-end, from pilot kick-off through renewal and expansion
  • Run weekly and monthly client touchpoints, including strategic briefings with C-level stakeholders
  • Conduct structured discovery to understand client pain points, competitive landscape, and strategic priorities
  • Translate customer insights into clear product requirements, working directly with the CTO
  • Drive upsells and account expansion within existing accounts
  • Contribute to outbound sales and new client acquisition as we grow
  • Help shape Paldo's positioning, messaging, and go-to-market approach based on what you hear in the field

WHO YOU ARE

  • Based in Oslo, with strong Norwegian language skills
  • Prior experience at a startup or high-growth environment where you wore multiple hats
  • Naturally curious about business strategy, competitive dynamics, and what makes companies tick
  • Genuinely enjoy talking to people. You build trust quickly, listen carefully, and people like having you in the room
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal. You can brief a CEO and write a sharp product spec the same afternoon

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, consulting, or competitive/market intelligence
  • Familiarity with the Nordic PE or M&A landscape
  • Prior customer success, account management, or product management experience
  • Comfort with data and analytical thinking
