You’ll work closely with our founders (Maikel and Lars) and development team, continuously adding new data and AI-powered features to our product. We’re looking for someone who’s excited by diverse data engineering challenges, set first steps into the world of machine learning and eager to apply their Python expertise to build meaningful software. Your Role

As our founding data engineer, you’ll be an essential part of our engineering team, taking full ownership of our data and AI infrastructure. With new data and AI-enhanced features continuously rolling out, you’ll tackle a variety of challenges, including:

• Data Engineering: Building scalable data infrastructure using Python and relevant frameworks.
• LLM Performance Optimization: Testing, implementing, and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) to expand our capabilities.
• Feature Development: Driving new AI and data-related features from concept to launch.
• Product Strategy Influence: Collaborate directly with the founders to guide our AI and data strategy.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a driven and adaptable engineer. If most of the following describes you, we’d love to chat:

• Engineering Proficiency: 2+ years in software or data engineering, with a record of building data-driven solutions.
• AI Enthusiasm: Experience or interest in integrating AI/ML models into software.
• Python Expertise: Proficiency in Python for data processing and AI solution development.
• Problem-Solver: Enjoy tackling complex challenges and building reliable solutions.
• English Speaking: Fluency in English. Dutch highly preferred.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, event-driven architecture, and cloud solutions like AWS or Azure.
