What You’ll Do
Serve as the bridge between the Finance and Leadership teams as the company’s first HR hire — leveraging financial and business data to drive cross-team alignment and help leadership stay focused on strategic priorities and key growth levers.
Build a best-in-class employee experience across the entire HR lifecycle, and implement scalable HR procedures and standards across the company.
Act as a trusted business partner for the entire team, serving as the go-to person for all HR-related topics — including onboarding and offboarding, payroll (outsourced), benefits and compensation administration, time-off management, HR legal matters (contracts, visas), HR policies and processes, the HRIS system, and more.
Lead monthly payroll cycles in collaboration with external providers.
Track and report on key HR KPIs, including employee turnover, NPS/satisfaction, and time-to-hire. You’ll also support the founding team in setting and tracking OKRs.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as an HR Specialist, HR Operations Manager, or in a similar generalist HR role.
Strong knowledge of HR and legal topics in hyper-growth environments, and the ability to build scalable processes from scratch.
Hands-on mentality and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining accuracy and rigor in everything you do.
Proven ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with employees, grounded in confidentiality and integrity.
High agency, ownership, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you’ll embody and represent the HR function.
Bonus Points
Experience working at a top-tier startup through multiple funding stages.
Demonstrated success building HR processes from 0 to 1.
Experience implementing an HRIS in a previous role.
Previous exposure to managing international employees, visa processes, and multi-entity organizations.
