What You’ll Do

  • Own recruiting end-to-end as the first dedicated hire, building a high-performing engineering function

  • Design, execute, and continuously improve the hiring process for senior engineering roles, balancing a very high bar with fast execution.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to drive hiring velocity — proactively managing the funnel, unblocking bottlenecks, and pushing decisions forward.

  • Build strong, high-signal pipelines fast, using creative and unconventional sourcing strategies that go far beyond LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience grounded in empathy and clarity

  • Plan and run standout Engineering-recruiting and employer branding events that attract top engineering talent

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with hyper-growth, working at a high-growth tech company that scaled from roughly 20 to 200 employees from Series A to Series B, as part of an internal Talent Acquisition team

  • Background in very high–technical-bar environments, primarily hiring senior engineers, with strong judgment evaluating technical talent across multiple coding languages

  • An exceptionally creative and proactive sourcer, with a deep understanding of engineering excellence, able to identify the top 1% of engineering talent

  • Experience designing and operating structured hiring processes, coordinating hiring managers at pace, with a track record of closing top-tier engineering talent

  • Exceptional ability to sell career opportunities at Peec AI to top engineering talent with multiple competing offers

  • Proven experience designing and running structured hiring processes, coordinating stakeholders, and operating modern recruiting tools and stacks (e.g. Ashby, Juicebox).

Bonus Points

  • Some technical background or hands-on technical ability.

  • Experience at a top-tier recruiting agency, especially in highly competitive technical markets.

  • Experience running standout employer branding or recruiting events.

  • Previous involvement in building a recruiting function as the first talent hire
