About the Role

You'll work shoulder to shoulder with our Founding Designer, deeply embedded in product and engineering to help shape the experience. This is a role with real ownership, not one where work gets handed down from above. You'll run user interviews, build our design system, make independent calls on features, and raise the bar for design quality across the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own and build our design system

• Conduct user interviews and maintain a deep, ongoing understanding of our customers

• Make independent product decisions on features and flows, with the judgment of a Founding designer who's been in the room when business trade offs are made

• Work in tight collaboration with engineers, just close pairing from idea through to shipped product

• Identify and fix quality issues across the product: flows that are confusing, interactions that feel off, screens that don't earn their complexity

• Raise the design bar for the whole team, we want someone who makes the people around them better

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Senior level product design experience, you've been the lead designer before, not just a contributor

• Seed stage startup experience is must, you know what it means to build foundational processes with no playbook

• Problem-first thinker: you design from user and business needs, not from what looks good in isolation

• You care deeply about craft, the difference between a good product and a great one lives in the micro-interactions, animations, and transitions that most people never consciously notice.

• AI-native approach to your tools and workflows, you're already experimenting and integrating AI into how you design

• Strong business acumen: you engage with the why behind features.

Compensation Range: €100K - €120K
