About the role
We’re looking for a AI Search Strategist to help our customers succeed in the new era of AI-driven search. In this role, you’ll work closely with leading brands and agencies, onboarding new clients and advising them on how to improve their visibility across search engines, AI assistants, and emerging generative surfaces. You’ll combine deep SEO expertise with a consultative approach, analyzing websites and search performance, running strategic advisory sessions, and translating business goals into actionable organic growth strategies. Working closely with Sales, Growth, and Product, you’ll also help shape how we enable customers and define best practices for succeeding in AI-powered search.
What you’ll do
Onboard and activate new key clients, and educate them on how to best leverage Peec AI to become top-ranked in AI search
Review websites, content, and search performance of key clients to identify AI-search-related opportunities across platforms (search, AI assistants, and emerging generative surfaces)
Run advisory sessions with leading brands and agencies, turning their growth and brand goals into actionable GEO strategies and roadmaps
Collaborate closely with Sales, Growth, and Product to refine activation journeys, case studies, and customer enablement programs
Consult our mid-sized and enterprise clients on GEO-related topics, from overall strategy to hands-on operational execution
What we’re looking for
3–5 years of hands-on SEO or organic growth experience, ideally at a top-tier SEO agency
Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, search intent, and how organic performance translates into business outcomes
Strong consulting skills: you’re used to advising clients, presenting strategic recommendations, and constructively challenging their thinking
Ability to explain SEO concepts in simple, actionable language for marketing and brand teams
Excitement about the shift from “10 blue links” to generative search, and motivation to be at the frontier of that change
Confident verbal and written communication skills in English for high-quality client calls, workshops, and written recommendations
Bonus points
Experience building frameworks: SEO playbooks, content strategies, or measurement models for clients
Initial experience with AI search
Background working with enterprise and other high-touch clients
Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS or marketing tech environment
Confident verbal and written communication skills in German for high-quality client calls, workshops, and written recommendations

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors including the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, in accordance with applicable New York law.
