Full Stack Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team and take ownership of our product development lifecycle. This role involves developing new features according to our product roadmap, maintaining production systems, and providing technical customer support. You'll work closely with our CTO and security engineering teams to build robust, secure solutions that serve our customers' critical security needs.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Development & Roadmap Execution

• Develop new product features and capabilities according to the established roadmap
• Build both frontend user interfaces and backend services to support product functionality
• Collaborate with the CTO to translate product requirements into technical specifications
• Implement features with security-first principles and best practices
• Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning sessions

Production Support & Customer Success

• Diagnose and fix production bugs to ensure system reliability and performance
• Provide technical customer support and troubleshoot user-reported issues
• Monitor system health and proactively address potential issues
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting and support processes
• Collaborate with customer success team to resolve technical challenges

Full Stack Development

• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using Next.js and TypeScript
• Build scalable backend APIs and services using modern web frameworks
• Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas and optimize query performance
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments

Security-Focused Engineering

• Work closely with security engineering team to implement security features and controls
• Ensure all code and infrastructure follows security best practices
• Participate in security reviews and threat modeling exercises
• Build features that enhance our customers' security posture
• Stay current with security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in full stack web development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Extensive experience with Next.js for frontend development
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL database design and optimization
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for customer support and team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building security platforms or working in security-focused verticals
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Previous customer-facing technical support experience
• Understanding of modern authentication and authorization patterns
