We are at an exciting inflection point: scaling rapidly, taking on big technical challenges, and building the foundational team that will shape the future of the company. In this role, you will be an early and influential team member with the opportunity to take ownership of major projects. You will work directly alongside the CTO to help define the technical direction of the product, and grow into a leadership role as we expand.

What You’ll Do

You will play a key role in driving some of the most important projects on our roadmap. During this role you will:

• Design and own new backend APIs
• Develop key integrations with external platforms such as Salesforce, Asana, Dynamics, Google Calendars, etc.
• Design backend data pipelines (ETL, BigQuery) to enable advanced analytics and reporting
• Secure and harden our APIs to protect sensitive sponsorship data and meet compliance standards

And in the next 12-24 months…

• Write innovative (top-secret!) new services using AI
• Develop SSO authentication capabilities and other sign-on improvements using Okta, OIDC, and SAML

What We’re Looking For

• Someone who can learn quickly and take on challenges they may have never before encountered.

• Strong Python experience

• Deep understanding of RESTful API design (Flask or FastAPI; ORM knowledge is a plus)

• Experience with third-party integrations and OAuth

• Development workflow skills: git, Github, AI-assisted coding (Cursor or similar),

• Bonus skills:Experience with Google Cloud, including especially Firebase (Firebase Hosting, Firestore - NoSQL) Experience with authentication systems (Familiarity with Okta, SAML, or OIDC is a plus!) Experience with email deliverability tools, domain authentication (SPF, DKIM), or marketing technology systems Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery experience is a bonus) React familiarity Ability to pass the test described in the console log of this page
