We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Merchant Onboarding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding new merchants through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition to our POS platform and hardware. You will serve as the primary point of contact, providing training, support, and troubleshooting assistance to ensure merchants are fully equipped to leverage our solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead new merchants through the entire onboarding process, from initial setup and configuration to training and go-live.
  • Provide comprehensive training on our POS software and hardware, ensuring merchants understand how to effectively utilize all features and functionalities.
  • Address and resolve technical issues or questions that merchants may encounter during the onboarding process.
  • Build strong relationships with merchants, fostering trust and confidence in our solutions.
  • Gather feedback from merchants on their onboarding experience, identifying areas for improvement and communicating insights to relevant teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions, onboarding progress, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with sales, support, and product teams to ensure a cohesive onboarding experience for merchants.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in B2B, account setup and onboarding, customer success, or technical support.
  • Familiarity with POS and payments systems, software-as-a-service, and hardware. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work cross-functionally.
