About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on, service-oriented Merchant Operations Executive to support our growing network of merchant partners. This role involves on-site training, hardware deployment, technical troubleshooting, and logistics coordination. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that merchants are fully set up, trained, and operational providing a seamless experience from onboarding to ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Merchant Support & Training:
Conduct on-site visits to merchant locations for onboarding, training, and support.
Provide in-person training on systems, devices, and tools to ensure merchants are confident using our platform.
Troubleshoot technical or operational issues on-site, including device setup, network/configuration problems, or user errors.
Hardware Deployment & Setup:
Deliver and install necessary hardware (e.g., terminals, tablets, printers) at merchant premises.
Perform functional testing and ensure systems are working as expected.
Maintain inventory of devices and track deployment status.
Office-Based Logistics:
Coordinate logistics and inventory management for merchant hardware, including shipping, receiving, and asset tracking.
Support procurement and restocking of hardware and equipment.
Liaise with warehouse, courier services, or third-party vendors when needed.
General Operations & Support:
Act as the first line of support for merchant operational issues.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, tech, support) for smooth merchant operations.
Document SOPs and assist in process improvements.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in operations, technical support, or a customer-facing role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills confident in dealing with merchants face-to-face.
Good technical aptitude with experience handling hardware setup and troubleshooting.
Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Comfortable with light physical work (e.g., carrying equipment, installation tasks).
Proficient in English; Mandarin-speaking is a strong plus to support Mandarin-speaking merchants.
Possession of own transport (e.g., car or motorbike) is preferred for hardware delivery and on-site visits.
