Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist acts as a trusted hiring partner for the business. This role goes beyond sourcing and hiring. You will play a consultative role, partnering closely with stakeholders to educate them on the talent market, advise on hiring strategies, manage candidate experience end-to-end, and lead offer negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management & Hiring Partnership

  • Partner closely with hiring managers focusing on commercial teams not limited to Sales, Tech, Operations, CS, and Corporate functions to understand hiring needs and priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by educating stakeholders on talent market conditions, candidate availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring trade-offs.
  • Facilitate structured and professional hiring discussions, including alignment on role scope, feedback calibration, and hiring decisions.
  • Proactively challenge and guide hiring managers when expectations are misaligned with market realities.

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle across all four countries, from intake to offer acceptance.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies for non-technical roles.
  • Screen and assess candidates with a strong understanding of candidate motivations, behavior, and decision drivers.
  • Work closely with the local HR doing recruitment and ensure requirements are on track.
  • Address and solve recruitment challenges, proactively identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure a smooth, professional, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate background checks and pre-employment requirements.

Candidate Management & Offer Negotiation

  • Manage candidate communication and engagement at every stage of the process.
  • Lead offer discussions and negotiations, balancing candidate expectations with internal equity and business constraints.
  • Advise stakeholders on offer strategy, counteroffers, and closing techniques.
  • Anticipate candidate risks and proactively manage drop-offs or competing offers.

Recruitment Strategy & Market Insights

  • Recommend hiring strategies based on business needs, talent availability, and market trends.
  • Provide data-driven insights on hiring timelines, sourcing effectiveness, and recruitment challenges.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience across regions.
  • Provide regular recruitment reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and progress.
  • Own and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and effective utilization across regions.

Regional Support

  • Support hiring needs across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
  • Understand and adapt to local talent market dynamics, cultural nuances, and hiring practices in each country.

What we are looking for:

  • 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, preferably in a startup, tech, or high-growth environment
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders and acting as a consultative hiring partner
  • Strong understanding of talent markets across Southeast Asia (or at least multi-country exposure)
  • Demonstrated experience in offer negotiation and candidate closing
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate management skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally, influence stakeholders, and manage difficult conversations
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently as an individual contributor
  • Experience hiring across multiple functions (Tech, Sales, Operations, Corporate) is a strong advantage
