At Reebelo, we value the balance between in-person collaboration and the flexibility needed to live our daily lives. Our team operates on a hybrid model, requiring 2-3 days of office per week. This role is located in the Bay Area, CA with an office location in San Mateo, CA.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Head of FP&A with a proven track record in financial planning and analysis within the high-growth startup ecosystem (Series B-D stages and funding). This role is critical in supporting the company’s strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a robust analytical skill set, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in enhancing financial operations through effective forecasting and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support decision-making regarding Reebelo’s future performance. Forecast financial outcomes under various scenarios and assist with the financial planning process.
  • Budget Management: Lead quarterly and annual budgeting process and regular forecasting updates, including variance analysis to understand differences between expected and actual figures.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews and provide insightful analysis of variances and trends. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management highlighting business performance and recommendations.
  • Strategic Analysis: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and analysis that support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize financial practices and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize advanced data analytics tools and techniques to interpret complex financial data and report back actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Global collaboration: Collaborate closely with other teams, particularly the SG finance team, to ensure seamless financial operations across time zones.

Qualificatios

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Has 6+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Big 4 accounting, investment banking, or corporate finance.
  • Experience in marketplace/e-commerce/consumer electronics/re-commerce industry experience is requiredAdvanced financial modeling techniques and abilities with a deep understanding of best financial modeling practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, concise reports.
  • Expertise in data analysis with advanced Excel/Google sheet skills and experience with financial software and systems.
