As a Medical Device Developer Intern at RespiQ, you will play a critical role in the development of innovative medical devices focused on respiratory disease detection. Your expertise and contributions will help advance the company's mission of revolutionizing respiratory healthcare!.
Responsibilities:
1. Medical Device Development: Support the development of medical devices from concept to realization.
2. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design inputs.
3. Design and Prototyping: Utilize your engineering skills to design and prototype medical devices, considering factors such as ergonomics, usability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
4. Testing, validation and documentation: Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including verification and validation activities, to ensure product performance, safety, and reliability. Prepare and maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including design documentation, technical files, test reports, and standard operating procedures.
5. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
Minimum required skills and qualifications:
1. Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360, Solidworks, Inventor), tolerance analysis, design for manufacturability, materials selection, and mechanical engineering principles. Proven engineering skills to design and prototype medical devices, considering factors such as ergonomics, usability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
4. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in design, documentation, and adherence to quality standards.
Duration: 6 months or more - Fulltime
Stipend: 400eur per month based on 40h per week
VISA: Sponsorship is not possible
