About the job:

We are seeking a passionate, talented, and knowledgeable R&D intern to join our collaborative and innovative team. As an intern at respiQ, you will work alongside physicists, biomedical engineers, and nanotechnologists under the guidance of our Chief Technology Officer. Your primary responsibilities will include project management, research, characterization, reporting, and improving the fabrication of the new miniaturized version of our breath analyser.

Who You Are:

  • Pursuing a MSc./PhD degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
  • Having knowledge and/or experience with any of the topic of plasma physics, mass spectroscopy, optical spectroscopy, chemical sensors, microfabrication, MEMs, machine learning are highly advantageous.
  • Good communication and project management skills (highly preferred)
  • A self-motivated future researcher, scientist, or engineer.
  • Passionate about integrating latest technology into healthcare.
  • Responsible and reliable in executing tasks promptly.
  • Possess strong technical lab skills and excellent reporting abilities.
  • Creative and able to thrive with limited resources and constant changing situations.
  • Adaptable and able to work effectively in a team, ready to tackle problems and take on tasks outside your immediate job description.
