Job Description for Team Lead Finance

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Finance team. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing reconciliations of sales and receivables. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the reconciliations of payable and receivable
• Interface between finance and tech operations to ensure seamless reconciliation processes
• Perform general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Verify, calculate, and post financial data accurately and promptly daily
• Assist in supporting the month-end closing process by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Proven experience in reconciling accounting figures and financial records.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and errors in financial data.
• Demonstrate appropriate handling of sensitive financial information.
• Ability to work efficiently within deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reconciliations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple parties.
• Intermediate computer software skills, including excel and accounting packages.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting
