DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing pipelines and infrastructure, enhancing automated test suites, and improving development and release processes. You will work closely with software developers and engineers to ensure systems are safe, secure, and scalable. The successful candidate will have a passion for automation, a drive for innovation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to the AWS environment and application stack
• Deploy and maintain critical applications on the cloud.
• Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies.
• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Have on-call responsibilities in rotation with the engineering team.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience working with AWS in a production environment.
• Completed AWS Associate certification is preferred.

Must Have Requirements

• Experience maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale.
• A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g., scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.).
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS).
• Expertise with AWS (e.g., IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda,ACM,DNS,Cloudwatch,RDS,Redis,S3,VPN).
• Version control system experience (e.g., Git).
• Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g., TravisCI).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills would be a big plus.
