This role exists to ensure payments are processed correctly and on time, reconciliations remain clean, financial data is recorded accurately, and routine Finance requirements are followed through without gaps.
About the Opportunity
As a Junior Finance Executive — Payments & Bank Reconciliation, you will support daily Finance operations across payments, vendor coordination, bank and general ledger reconciliations, month-end activities, and tax-related operational tasks. You will work across Finance and other departments, building practical experience in financial controls, documentation, reconciliation, and compliance processes.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day operational activities related to payments, vendor coordination, and required out-of-office Finance visits.
- Coordinate and process approved payments accurately and on time, ensuring required documentation and approvals are complete before disbursement.
- Act as a Finance coordination point for routine payment and reconciliation queries from other departments and follow through until issues are resolved.
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, investigate differences, and ensure open items are followed through or escalated appropriately.
- Verify, calculate, and post financial data accurately and promptly in the relevant finance/accounting systems.
- Maintain complete, organized, and traceable records for payments, reconciliations, vendor documentation, and supporting financial entries.
- Support month-end closing by preparing required documentation, reconciliations, schedules, and follow-ups.
- Support routine sales tax and income tax-related operational requirements under guidance, including preparation and verification of supporting information.
- Navigate relevant tax portals for assigned routine tasks, data retrieval, submissions, or status checks under appropriate review and authorization.
- Identify payment, reconciliation, documentation, or compliance discrepancies early and coordinate with the relevant Finance team member for resolution.
- Use Excel, finance systems, automation, and AI responsibly to improve accuracy, tracking, and recurring Finance work where appropriate.
What Success Looks Like

- Bank and general ledger reconciliations are current, with differences identified, documented, and followed through promptly.
- Financial entries and supporting records are accurate, complete, and easy for another Finance team member to trace and review.
- Vendor and internal payment queries receive accurate information and clear follow-through.
- Month-end documentation and assigned reconciliations are prepared on time and require limited avoidable correction.
- Routine tax-related tasks are handled carefully, with correct supporting information and appropriate escalation when guidance or authorization is required.
