ROLE OVERVIEW

The Partnership Development Manager – is responsible for developing, owning and scaling strategic partnership programs with banks, brands, fintechs, FMCG partners and ecosystem partners. This role is expected to lead partner engagement, build commercial proposals, co-own negotiation, convert partnership opportunities into measurable business outcomes and ensure partner/customer commitments are delivered on time and with quality.

Beyond coordination, the role owns partnership pipeline execution, program performance, commercial value generation and cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Data, Finance and Legal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Partnership Development & Commercial Ownership

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with banks, brands, fintechs, FMCG companies, ecosystem partners and channel partners.
  • Own and maintain a prioritized partnership pipeline, including partner segmentation, opportunity qualification, business value estimation and quarterly action plans.
  • Identify new partnership models such as bank partnership channels, Brand Services, co-funded campaigns, white-label/app integration, ecosystem service distribution and merchant acquisition programs.
  • Lead or co-lead partner proposals, commercial models, business cases, pricing assumptions and negotiation preparation.
  • Support and drive MOU, NDA, contract and commercial approval processes in coordination with Legal, Finance and relevant business owners.

2. Partner Program Execution & Operations

  • Translate partner/customer agreements into clear execution plans with owners, timelines, deliverables, tracking mechanisms and escalation paths.
  • Own day-to-day partner operations after alignment or contract signing, including timeline, action tracker, pending list, meeting notes and follow-up items.
  • Coordinate Product, Marketing, Sales, CS, Data, Finance and Legal to ensure partner programs are launched on time and executed with quality.
  • Manage campaign launch readiness, including communication materials, partner sales kit, CS script, tracking flow, operating process and reporting template.
  • Anticipate blockers and operational risks; escalate early with proposed solutions to protect project timelines and partner/customer commitments.

3. Performance Tracking, Reporting & Business Review

  • Monitor partner program KPIs such as leads, merchant acquisition, account opening, activation, transaction, retention, revenue, CAC/CPA, ROI and adoption.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly partner reports, business review materials, issue logs, post-launch learnings and improvement proposals.
  • Analyze campaign and partner performance to recommend optimization actions, scale-up opportunities or program adjustments.
  • Track partner revenue, co-funded campaign value and business value generated from partnership programs.

4. Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong B2B partner relationships at both working and management levels.
  • Represent the Partnership team in partner meetings, internal alignment sessions, business reviews and cross-functional execution discussions.
  • Ensure communication discipline, follow-up quality and accountability across internal teams and external partners.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related fields.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership, Partner Operations, Account Management, Partner Success, Customer Success or Project/Program Management; experience owning partnership programs is preferred.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, banking, financial services, e-commerce, FMCG or fast-paced technology startups is strongly preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen; able to build partner proposals, business cases, revenue projections, cost models, ROI assumptions and partner business review materials.
  • Strong project ownership, stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills; able to work effectively with both external partners and internal teams.
  • Highly proactive, self-driven and accountable; able to follow through with partners and internal teams without repeated instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up discipline and ability to drive execution under tight timelines.
  • Comfortable with business metrics such as lead conversion, activation rate, transaction rate, retention, CAC/CPA, revenue, ROI and partner performance.
  • Good communication skills in Vietnamese and English, especially for partner meetings, business emails, proposals and reporting.
  • Experience working with banks, payment partners, FMCG brands, merchant/SME/HKD segments or ecosystem partnerships is a strong advantage.

  • Number of active partner programs launched, executed successfully and scaled.
  • Partnership pipeline progress, qualified partner opportunities and signed/activated partner programs.
  • On-time delivery of project milestones, operational deliverables and partner/customer commitments.
  • Partner leads, merchants acquired, account openings, activations, transactions and customer adoption results.
  • Partner revenue, co-funded campaign value or business value generated from partnership programs.
  • Quality and timeliness of partner reports, business reviews, issue resolution and escalation handling.
  • Improvement actions proposed and implemented based on post-launch learnings and performance reviews.
