The role
As Financial Services Manager, you'll own and grow FinanOne's financial services product line, working hand in hand with banks and financial institutions. The opportunity is big: helping close the ~$24B annual credit gap that micro and small businesses in Vietnam still can't access through formal channels by designing the products and workflows that banks and financial institutions teams put in front of their customers, faster, more efficiently, and with better portfolio management.
This role is for someone who speaks the language of banks and fintech, thinks like a product owner, and carries a commercial instinct with the grit to build a new line from the ground up.What you'll do
- Own the financial services product line commercially - accountable for business outcomes, not just shipping features.
- Build and nurture partnerships with banks and financial institutions; design products that fit their appetite and processes.
- Design the workflows that help a bank's RMs and credit officers serve both existing and new SME customers better.
- Partner with engineering to turn market needs into product, from requirements and roadmap to milestones.
- Build the unit economics and measure real product performance.
- Expand into adjacent embedded-finance products for SMEs with partner banks, such as corporate cards.
Who we're looking for
You don't need to tick every box, the more of these you bring, the better a fit you'll be:
- Experience across both the RM and credit officer roles in SME banking - you know the lifecycle from origination and assessment to approval and portfolio management.
- Experience at any merchant and SME-focused fintech or embedded finance products.
- Credit product owner / product manager experience with financial products.
- A sharp commercial instinct and readiness to own outcomes.
- An open mind about how fintech, AI, and data can be an advantage for banks rather than a threat.
- Existing relationships with SME banking and/or digital-banking teams.
- You've taken a financial product from idea to live (0 → 1).
- Familiarity with cash-flow data, SME credit scoring and value creation for financial institutions.
