ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Partnership Development Executive owns the end-to-end partnership lifecycle across three core responsibilities: partner hunting and acquisition, project management and program delivery, and account management and growth. The role proactively identifies, engages, and acquires high-potential partners across banking, fintech, FMCG, consumer brands, channel partners, and the broader business ecosystem.

The role builds and converts a qualified partnership pipeline, develops commercial proposals and business cases, supports negotiations through deal closure, coordinates cross-functional teams to launch programs successfully, and manages partner relationships to drive performance, retention, expansion, and long-term commercial value. The expected focus is approximately 40% partner hunting and deal closure, 30% project management and program delivery, and 30% account management and partnership growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Partner Hunting, Business Development & Deal Closure

- Conduct market mapping and identify high-potential partners across banking, fintech, FMCG, consumer brands, channel partners, and the broader business ecosystem.

- Proactively approach, engage, and qualify prospective partners through targeted outreach, referrals, industry networks, and business events.

- Build and manage a prioritized partnership pipeline, including partner segmentation, opportunity qualification, business value estimation, conversion targets, and quarterly action plans.

- Identify and develop new partnership models, including banking channels, Brand Services, co-funded campaigns, white-label solutions, app integrations, ecosystem service distribution, and merchant acquisition programs.

- Develop partner proposals, commercial models, business cases, pricing assumptions, and negotiation strategies.

- Lead or co-lead partner discussions and negotiations, driving qualified opportunities from initial engagement through agreement and deal closure.

- Coordinate MOU, NDA, contract, and commercial approval processes with Legal, Finance, and relevant business owners.

2. Project Management & Program Delivery

- Translate signed agreements into clear project plans with defined scope, owners, timelines, deliverables, KPIs, dependencies, and escalation paths.

- Lead partner kick-off and coordinate Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Data, Finance, and Legal throughout implementation.

- Manage launch readiness, including communication materials, partner sales kits, CS scripts, tracking flows, operating processes, and reporting templates.

- Monitor implementation progress, maintain action trackers, manage risks and blockers, and follow up on outstanding deliverables.

- Ensure partnership programs are launched on time, within the agreed scope, and to the expected quality.

- Support the transition of established programs into business-as-usual operations with clear ownership and operating processes.

3. Account Management & Partnership Growth

- Own and strengthen partner relationships at both working and management levels after agreement signing.

- Develop stakeholder maps and maintain an effective engagement and business review cadence with key decision-makers and operational contacts.

- Monitor partner commitments, program adoption, and performance, following up proactively on agreed actions and deliverables.

- Coordinate issue resolution and communicate risks, decisions, and progress clearly across internal teams and external partners.

- Identify renewal, expansion, cross-selling, and scale-up opportunities based on partner performance and evolving business needs.

4. Performance Tracking, Reporting & Business Review

- Monitor partnership pipeline and program KPIs, including qualified opportunities, proposal conversion, deals signed, acquisition, activation, transactions, retention, revenue, CAC/CPA, ROI, and adoption.

- Prepare weekly and monthly pipeline reports, partner performance updates, business reviews, issue logs, and post-launch learnings.

- Track revenue, co-funded campaign value, pipeline value, and overall commercial value generated through partnership programs.

- Recommend optimization, recovery, and scale-up actions based on performance data and partner feedback.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

- 4–6 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, B2B Sales, Account Management, or Project/Program Management, with hands-on ownership across more than one of these areas.

- Proven experience in prospecting, developing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and converting partnership opportunities into signed agreements.

- Experience managing cross-functional projects from agreement through launch, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment.

- Experience managing partner accounts, performance reviews, renewals, expansion, or cross-selling opportunities.

- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, banking, financial services, e-commerce, FMCG, or fast-paced technology startups is strongly preferred.

- Strong commercial acumen; able to build business cases, pricing models, revenue projections, cost assumptions, ROI analyses, and partner review materials.

- Comfortable with business metrics such as pipeline conversion, activation, transactions, retention, CAC/CPA, revenue, ROI, and partner performance.

- Highly proactive, self-driven, accountable, and able to drive execution under tight timelines with strong attention to detail and follow-up discipline.

- Good communication skills in Vietnamese and English, particularly for partner meetings, negotiations, business emails, proposals, and reporting.

- Experience working with banks, payment partners, FMCG brands, merchant/SME/HKD segments, or ecosystem partnerships is a strong advantage.

Work hours: Monday – Friday (08:30 – 18:00, lunch break 12:00 – 13:30), Saturday (08:30 – 12:00)
