ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Partnership Development Executive owns the end-to-end partnership lifecycle across three core responsibilities: partner hunting and acquisition, project management and program delivery, and account management and growth.

You will proactively identify, engage, and acquire high-potential partners across banking, fintech, FMCG, consumer brands, channel partners, and the broader business ecosystem. You will build and convert a qualified pipeline, develop commercial proposals and business cases, drive negotiations to closure, coordinate cross-functional teams to launch programs, and grow partner relationships for long-term commercial value.

Expected focus:

- 40% – Partner hunting & deal closure

- 30% – Project management & program delivery

- 30% – Account management & partnership growth

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Partner Hunting, Business Development & Deal Closure

- Conduct market mapping and identify high-potential partners across banking, fintech, FMCG, consumer brands, channel partners, and the broader ecosystem.

- Approach, engage, and qualify prospective partners through targeted outreach, referrals, industry networks, and business events.

- Build and manage a prioritized pipeline: partner segmentation, opportunity qualification, business value estimation, conversion targets, and quarterly action plans.

- Develop new partnership models: banking channels, Brand Services, co-funded campaigns, white-label solutions, app integrations, ecosystem service distribution, and merchant acquisition programs.

- Prepare partner proposals, commercial models, business cases, pricing assumptions, and negotiation strategies.

- Lead or co-lead negotiations, driving opportunities from first engagement to signed agreement.

- Coordinate MOU, NDA, contract, and commercial approval processes with Legal, Finance, and business owners.

2. Project Management & Program Delivery

- Turn signed agreements into clear project plans with scope, owners, timelines, deliverables, KPIs, dependencies, and escalation paths.

- Lead partner kick-offs and coordinate Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Data, Finance, and Legal through implementation.

- Manage launch readiness: communication materials, partner sales kits, CS scripts, tracking flows, operating processes, and reporting templates.

- Track progress, maintain action trackers, manage risks and blockers, and follow up on outstanding deliverables.

- Ensure programs launch on time, within scope, and to the expected quality.

- Support the transition of established programs into business-as-usual with clear ownership.

3. Account Management & Partnership Growth

- Own and strengthen partner relationships at both working and management levels.

- Build stakeholder maps and maintain a regular business review cadence with decision-makers and operational contacts.

- Monitor partner commitments, adoption, and performance; follow up proactively on agreed actions.

- Coordinate issue resolution and communicate risks, decisions, and progress across internal and external teams.

- Identify renewal, expansion, cross-selling, and scale-up opportunities.

4. Performance Tracking, Reporting & Business Review

- Monitor pipeline and program KPIs: qualified opportunities, proposal conversion, deals signed, acquisition, activation, transactions, retention, revenue, CAC/CPA, ROI, and adoption.

- Prepare weekly and monthly pipeline reports, partner performance updates, business reviews, issue logs, and post-launch learnings.

- Track revenue, co-funded campaign value, pipeline value, and overall commercial value generated.

- Recommend optimization, recovery, and scale-up actions based on data and partner feedback.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

- 4–6 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, B2B Sales, Account Management, or Project/Program Management, with hands-on ownership across more than one of these areas.

- Experience managing cross-functional projects from agreement to launch, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment.

- Experience managing partner accounts, performance reviews, renewals, expansion, or cross-selling.
