Role Summary

The Content Marketing Executive will own end-to-end content production for brand and performance needs planning, scripting, coordinating shoots, and ensuring platform-fit execution across Reels, Shorts, Meta ads, and campaign assets. This role is responsible for driving content output volume, meeting tight timelines, and improving creative performance quality through strong storytelling, structured workflows, and vendor coordination.

Core Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Content Production
  • Plan and execute content requirements across product, brand, and campaign needs.
  • Write/coordinate scripts, shot lists, and briefs for creators, in-house shoots, and production partners.
  • Manage pre-production planning: props, locations, talent/creator coordination, schedules, and approvals.
  • Direct or coordinate execution during shoots to ensure content matches the brief and brand standards.
  • Coordinate post-production with editors: cuts, iterations, subtitles, formats, aspect ratios, and final exports.
  • Maintain an organised content repository (raw footage, finals, thumbnails, scripts, and learnings).
  • Visual Storytelling & Platform Fit
  • Build thumb-stopping storytelling designed for performance: strong hooks, pacing, clarity, and retention.
  • Create content tailored to each platform (Reels/Shorts/Meta placements) while maintaining brand

aesthetics.

  • Work closely with performance/growth teams to translate performance insights into better content direction.
  • Improve content frameworks: problem-solution, demo-first, UGC-style scripts, product education, social proof, etc.
  • Ensure every output is aligned with brand tone, visual language, and messaging priorities.
  • Vendor, Budget & Timeline Management
  • Identify and onboard creators, freelancers, and production partners based on content needs and cost

efficiency.

  • Negotiate deliverables and manage production budgets responsibly to maximise output ROI.
  • Own production timelines end-to-end: briefing, shoot schedules, editing timelines, approvals, and final

handover.

  • Ensure quality control across vendor outputs (editing, sound, lighting, storytelling, compliance).
  • Track deliverables vs plan weekly and proactively escalate risks before timelines slip.

Skills & Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in content production for D2C/e-commerce/social-first brands/agency.
  • Strong grasp of short-form content trends and performance storytelling (hooks, pacing, retention).
  • Ability to plan shoots independently (briefs, shot lists, props, creator coordination).
  • Comfortable managing editors/vendors and driving timelines without micromanagement.
  • Working understanding of performance metrics like CTR, hook rate, hold rate, watch time (basic level).
  • Tools familiarity: Google Sheets/Notion trackers, basic editing review workflows (Premiere/CapCut

knowledge is a plus).
