About The Role

Sova Health is looking for a hands-on Training and Quality Assurance Manager to own the full training and quality lifecycle for our coaching, sales, and client-facing teams. This role sits at the intersection of research, instructional design, live training delivery, probation and onboarding management, and quality assurance. You will build and continuously improve the curriculum that turns new hires into confident, clinically sound, high-performing coaches and sales professionals and you will audit their work to make sure standards hold once training ends.

This is a highly cross-functional, delivery-focused role: you will work closely with Clinical, Nutrition, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to keep training content accurate, current, and aligned to how the business actually operates on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery & Facilitation
  • Design and conduct end-to-end onboarding training for new hires across coaching, sales, doctors, and client-facing roles (Ops, Marketing, B2B Alliance, Copywriting, NPD, etc.).
  • Deliver a clinical and scientific overview of Sova Health's approach to new leaders joining the organization.
  • Plan and run ongoing / refresher training for coaches, sales, and other teams to keep knowledge current.
  • Conduct mock calls with old and new coaches and the sales team as a simulation-based tool for quality improvement.
  • Research & Content Development
  • Research emerging nutrition science, coaching best practices, and industry trends to keep training content accurate and up to date.
  • Translate research and clinical guidance into practical, easy-to-apply training material for non-clinical audiences.
  • Course Creation & Management
  • Own full-cycle course design and development on platforms such as Udemy and Coursebox, including decks, articles, assessments, and downloadable resources.
  • Manage end-to-end video production for training content, including quality checks and coordination with Marketing.
  • Continuously update and improve existing course content based on feedback, audits, and business changes.
  • Probation & Onboarding Management
  • Own the new-hire onboarding journey from training through to confirmation, tracking progress against probation milestones.
  • Partner with managers to assess new hires during probation and provide structured, evidence-based feedback.
  • Identify and close skill gaps surfaced during probation through targeted coaching or refresher modules.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Manage audits of calls (coaches and sales) to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage audits of diet plans issued by coaches for clinical accuracy.
  • Audit client-coach messaging for compliance and tone.
  • Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for escalations and track resolution and learnings.
  • Audit GMT/expert-level calls and escalation RCAs, including alignment with conversion metrics, for senior-level quality monitoring.
  • Process & Program Improvement
  • Drive structural improvements to calls and training delivery, including science-led decks and professionalism standards (e.g., clinical tools, headset/lab-coat protocols).
  • Handle escalation cases where clinical or coaching improvement has not been achieved through standard channels.
  • Partner with Program Management/Operations to translate audit and probation findings into process changes.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-6+ years of experience in learning & development, training, instructional design, or quality assurance, ideally in a healthcare, wellness, coaching, or D2C service environment.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, comfortable running live training sessions and mock calls for varied audiences.
  • Experience building courses/content on platforms like Udemy, Coursebox, or similar LMS tools.
  • Working knowledge of, or strong willingness to learn, clinical/nutrition fundamentals sufficient to audit diet plans and coaching conversations.
  • Sharp analytical mindset for call audits, RCA, and quality scoring; comfortable working with data to track training and QA outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience managing onboarding/probation processes is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's and Master’s degree required in Medicine/ Nutrition/ Nursing; a background in nutrition, life sciences, psychology, or education is an advantage.
