About StratSync:
StratSync is a pre-seed, VC backed (Antler) startup focused on pioneering scalable agentic solutions on revenue intelligence for operations heavy B2B industries by leveraging state-of-the-art AI, data science, and cloud technologies.

We're looking for a founding engineer who is comfortable building from the ground up, experimenting rapidly, and wearing multiple hats in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. LLM & Conversational AI:
   Design, build, and iterate on LLM-driven chat bots and conversational agents tailored to our use cases. Past experience with foundational models (e.g., OpenAI, Llama, Cohere) and prompt/finetuning workflows is expected.

2. Data Engineering & Analytics:
   Lead all aspects of data collection/aggregation, ETL, data cleaning, and preparation. Build pipelines to support robust analytics and ML modeling.

3. Model Development & Deployment:
   Develop, implement, and experiment with supervised and unsupervised machine learning models. Deploy solutions in production cloud environments (GCP or AWS), ensuring scalability and reliability.

4. ML Ops & Infrastructure:
   Build and manage the end-to-end ML workflow—model versioning, performance monitoring, pipelines, and CI/CD for model deployment and updates.

5. API & Systems Engineering:
   Architect, implement, and document scalable APIs. Set up and manage API gateways, load balancers, and cloud resource workflows to support peak performance and availability.

6. Security & Best Practices:
   Implement best practices for authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and contribute to internal documentation and training for the broader team.

Required Qualifications

Startup Mindset:
Demonstrated experience working at startups, taking solutions from 0 to 1 and iterating quickly in response to user/customer feedback.

Conversational AI/LLMs:
Strong track record of building and deploying LLM-powered chat bots or conversational agents, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and real-world evaluation.

Data Science & Visualization:
Expert in data analysis, visualization (e.g., building dashboards with Streamlit, Dash, or similar), and machine learning methodologies. Familiarity with commonly used data science libraries/frameworks.

Cloud & Infrastructure:
Proven experience deploying services/models in cloud environments (GCP, AWS). Comfort working with virtual machine instances, autoscaling, load balancing, and cloud security practices.

ML Ops:
Competence in model pipelines, version control for ML models (DVC, MLflow or similar), and monitoring/alerting for production workloads.

API Engineering:
Proficient in designing and optimizing RESTful APIs and understanding API gateways and traffic management in production.

Bonus Experience
Previous founding team or early engineering roles at startups.

Prior work in SaaS/data platforms or B2B tools.

Experience building analytics dashboards and data visualization tools.

Hands-on with real-time stream processing or knowledge graph technologies.
