We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive our product vision and lead the technical strategy for scaling into the go-to global fitness community platform.

What You’ll Do

• Architect & Scale: Lead the development of a highly scalable, real-time marketplace that supports payments, chat systems, event ticketing, and social discovery.
• Marketplace & Payments Infrastructure: Oversee the development of secure, seamless payment processing, escrow, and donation mechanisms for event hosts and fitness entrepreneurs.
• AI & Matching Algorithms: Build and refine intelligent workout buddy, teammate, and dating match-making algorithms based on user behavior, preferences, and community engagement.
• Real-time Communications & Social Features: Implement low-latency chat, live notifications, and group communication tools to enhance community interaction.
• Event Management & Waivers: Ensure seamless integration of ticketing, waiver collection, and tournament hosting functionalities.
• Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for user authentication, fraud detection, liability waiver management, and data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS).
• Cross-Platform Development: Oversee mobile-first architecture with experience in React Native, Flutter, or progressive web apps (PWAs) to ensure high-performance UX across devices.
• Data & Growth Analytics: Leverage data engineering, user segmentation, and predictive analytics to drive user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies.
• Team Leadership: Recruit and lead a world-class engineering team, fostering a high-velocity, product-focused culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience managing technical teams in high growth environments
• Experience scaling B2C marketplaces or social platforms with e-commerce, payments, or ticketing features.
• Deep technical expertise in real-time communication systems (WebSockets, Firebase, or similar technologies).
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven matchmaking, recommendation engines, and behavioral analytics.
• Proficiency in cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices development.
• Knowledge of blockchain or smart contract integrations (optional but a plus for liability waivers and digital ownership of event tickets).
• Strong understanding of mobile app performance optimization, latency reduction, and API efficiency.
• Background in fitness, sports tech, or creator economy platforms is a big plus.
