what is the job about

tocco is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Developer to expand our supplier and manufacturing network across Asia. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in acquiring more users in the space of sustainable materials, leveraging their exceptional communication skills and business development experience to drive tocco’s mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage with potential suppliers and manufacturers within the sustainable materials sector across Asia, expanding tocco's network and offerings.
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new users, including brands and manufacturers, interested in integrating sustainable materials into their products.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the sustainability spectrum to ensure a continuous pipeline of high-quality suppliers and users.
Collaborate with the global team to align regional strategies with tocco’s overall mission and objectives.
Conduct market research to understand trends, opportunities, and challenges within the sustainable materials sector in Asia.
Represent tocco at industry events, webinars, and forums, enhancing brand visibility and user engagement.

what you bring along

Proven experience in business development, preferably within the sustainability, materials, or B2B marketplace sectors.
Fluent in English and at least one Asian language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-autonomous with a proven track record of achieving growth targets and the ability to work collaboratively across cultural and geographical boundaries.
Strong understanding of the sustainability trends and regulatory landscape in Asia.
Ability to leverage digital and traditional channels for business development and user acquisition.
