Tocco was born in 2022 to reimagine how we produce, not just how we consume. We’re building a B2B platform to make sustainable sourcing radically accessible - combining the most extensive alt-materials database with the tools and editorial context that make it actually usable.
We’ve just launched the beta of tocco.earth, and we’re ready to go full speed. This is where you come in.
We’re looking for a Founding Fullstack Engineer to help us move fast - and smart - across our platform and tooling. You’ll shape our tech stack, make high-leverage decisions, and build the foundation for a product that needs to be both powerful and beautiful.
💡 Think: someone who’s excited to build v1 of a product and the systems that help it scale - even if it means rolling up their sleeves in weird corners of the stack.
💥 what you’ll do
You’ll join a small, focused team and ship meaningful product from day one.
💡 You’ll work on things like:
Design and launch our next-gen supplier profile editor (with dynamic data structures) - these profiles are the digital identity for 1,000+ verified APAC/EU suppliers, directly solving the "East-West disconnect" that breaks sourcing today.Build a custom analytics dashboard for buyers (e.g., IKEA, Samsung) and internal teams-so they can track RFQ response times (we’re targeting <24hrs) and carbon savings (the metric that keeps enterprise clients renewing).Integrate industrial-grade AI workflows-not just chatbots, but smart search (e.g., "find BPI-certified plastic that ships in 4 weeks") and automated tagging (to organize our growing materials database into a defensible moat).Architect onboarding flows (Clerk + Supabase) that work for both EU brands (needing compliance checks) and APAC suppliers (needing simple data input)-no more one-size-fits-all friction.Own core data model decisions: Define how "materials," "suppliers," and "applications" connect. This will be the backbone of our AI matching engine-so when we expand to EV batteries or aerospace materials, your work scales with us.Refactor legacy Next.js/Prisma components to handle 10x more users-because we’re moving from beta to 50+ enterprise clients in 12 months, and reliability is non-negotiable.🧠 You’ll also help us think:
