What do we do at upcover?

1. We help small business owners get access to easy, affordable and jargon free business insurance
2. We partner with some of worlds largest insurers to give small businesses access to first in class coverage, all online.
3. We enable any business, brand or marketplace to become distributors of insurance using our plug & play API first platform

About the role

You will be the voice of upcover amongst small business owners, taking inbound queries, understanding their requirements and offering the insurance products on upcover's platform. You will be assisting business owners, helping them in their business insurance buying journey.

We have an intense four week training program to help you scale up and become well versed in the insurance products we offer. At the end of your training and probation, you will undertake the RG146 qualification (fully paid for by upcover) to be compliant with the local regulations around giving general advise on insurance products. Australia is after all one of the most heavily regulated markets for insurance in the world.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate, persuade and influence using facts, data and information at hand
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
• Ability to learn complex legal and contractual concepts
• Fluency in computer literacy
• Attention to detail
