The world of commercial insurance and underwriting is complex and analog. And its gigantic. You will work directly with our Founders, at the cross section of industries like Healthcare, Technology, Financial Services etc., finding new ways to generate demand and grow our top of the funnel for insurance products like Cyber and Indemnity Insurance. You will play a pivotal role in increasing upcover’s access to SMBs / startups, building our partner strategy enabled by content, community and digital, ultimately driving top line revenue. This role requires you to wear the partnerships, go to market and demand generation hats!

In this role, you will

  • Build a hypothesis-driven GTM: Adapt upcover’s existing go-to-market to different products and industries by a continuous cycle of hypothesis, experimentation, feedback, and refinement
  • Unlock new verticals: Inherit a rare matrix of market leading commercial insurance products we have access to from the world’s top insurers and underwriters. Use these products to lead top of the funnel demand generation using a mix of community, partnerships and digital to source and prospect leads.
  • Lead community engagement through events: Explore innovative ways to build relationships with SMBs and startups via a combination of grassroots initiatives and face-to-face interactions, representing upcover at major industry events and conferences. Lead creative engagement efforts, coordinating activations, to connect with industry professionals
  • Drive partner performance: Lead the development and communication of the partnership performance analysis, including financial performance, agreed metrics, and related insights
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with upcover’s policyholders, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to understand the challenges and needs of our users and use these insights to inform upcover’s go-to-market and build awareness of the upcover brand.

We'd love for you to have

  • Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high-growth environments
  • Experience in community management, paid socials, event management and partnerships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success.

And it'll be great if you have

  • An ability to ‘think outside the box'
  • Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups, and being able to cope with a fair amount of uncertainty

  • Meet the team! 30-45min 1:1 Zoom meetings with 3-4 team members you’d work closely with in the role
