Booking.com and Expedia built a $140B+ duopoly by owning the guest relationship and taking massive commissions from independent hotels. We’re helping hotels take that relationship back.
About the role
We're hiring our Founding Business Development Representative to build Visito's outbound motion from zero. You'll be our first non-founder sales hire, reporting directly to the CEO. Your day looks like 40+ cold calls to hotel owners across different geographies, plus the email and WhatsApp follow-ups.
You'll have AI prospecting and follow-up tools that didn't exist two years ago, a product hotels love, and zero layers between you and the founders. If you want to learn outbound at an AI-native startup and own your numbers from day one, this is your place.
What you'll do
- Run daily outbound across cold calls and email to independent hotels
- Use AI prospecting tools to build targeted lead lists and personalize outreach
- Follow up across email, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn until you get a clear yes or no
- Book qualified demos for the CEO or help customers start free trials
- Test new outbound angles, scripts, and channels every week
- Feed back what you hear from prospects to the team
- Help shape the sales playbook as we scale
You may be a good fit if you
- Have 1-3 years of experience in sales, BDR, SDR, or a founding go-to-market role
- Are fluent in Spanish (English a big plus)
- Love picking up the phone and don't get rattled by cold calls
- Are a go-getter who's excited to work inside a high speed AI-native startup
- Use AI tools to prospect, draft outreach, and automate the mundane
- Want ownership over your pipeline and your numbers
Strong candidates may also have
- Sold to SMBs, especially hospitality, restaurants, or local services
- Built outbound sequences focused on conversion
- Experience with AI sales and automation tools
- Worked at an early-stage startup where the sales playbook didn't exist yet
