We are looking for a high-ownership Senior Account Executive to accelerate Volopay's growth in the US market. This is a full-cycle sales role where you'll be responsible for building pipeline, leading consultative sales conversations, closing complex deals, and contributing to the evolution of our US go-to-market strategy.

This is not a traditional Account Executive role with an established playbook. You'll operate in a fast-moving environment where ownership, resourcefulness, and execution are essential to building a repeatable revenue engine in one of our most strategic markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through discovery, product demonstrations, negotiation, and deal closure

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline targeting mid-market and enterprise businesses through outbound prospecting, referrals, partnerships, LinkedIn, and creative outreach strategies

  • Engage CFOs, finance leaders, founders, and operations teams to understand business challenges around spend management, corporate cards, bill payments, approvals, reimbursements, and finance operations

  • Conduct consultative discovery and position Volopay's solutions based on business outcomes and operational value rather than product features

  • Navigate complex buying processes involving multiple stakeholders while driving deal momentum and successful closures

  • Collaborate with leadership by sharing customer insights, market feedback, competitive intelligence, and recommendations to refine ICP, messaging, pricing, product direction, and the US GTM playbook

  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene with accurate pipeline management, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and next-step discipline

  • Consistently achieve revenue targets while contributing to the growth and scalability of the US business

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, fintech, payments, spend management, AP automation, accounting, ERP, or finance technology

  • Demonstrated success managing full-cycle sales and generating your own pipeline through outbound prospecting

  • Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise customers involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles

  • Strong consultative selling, discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Self-starter with a high-ownership mindset who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage growth environments

  • Strong commercial acumen with disciplined CRM management, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior business and finance stakeholders
