About the Role
Volopay is looking for an SEO & Growth Manager to own organic growth end-to-end — from technical health and content strategy to team management and revenue impact. This isn't a role for someone who just wants rankings to go up; we need someone who connects SEO work to pipeline, works the numbers, and pushes the team to figure out what's actually driving (or blocking) growth.

What You'll Do

  • Own the organic growth strategy — technical SEO, content, and authority-building — and translate it into a working roadmap, not just a wishlist

  • Manage and mentor a team of content writers — set priorities, review quality, keep output on schedule

  • Diagnose why pages aren't ranking or converting, and fix the root cause instead of surface symptoms

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that track what matters — rankings, organic traffic, and lead quality and conversion, not just vanity metrics

  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand where leads come from, how they convert, and feed that back into content and targeting decisions

  • Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to automate repetitive SEO work — content gap analysis, reporting, rank tracking, audits — so the team spends time on strategy, not busywork

  • Run regular technical and content audits and flag/prioritize issues before they cost rankings

  • Stay ahead of how search itself is changing — AI answer engines, SGE/AI Overviews, changing SERP behavior — and adjust strategy accordingly, not just chase traditional rankings


What We're Looking For

  • Strong, demonstrated SEO skill — technical, content, and off-page — you can show us, not just tell us

  • Genuinely comfortable with data — you look at numbers before you have opinions, and you can build a dashboard or read Ahrefs/GSC/GA data without hand-holding

  • Can direct AI tools to do real work — not copy-paste, but actually prompt, iterate, and get usable output out of Claude/ChatGPT for research, reporting, or automation

  • Strategic thinker — you can go from "traffic is flat" to a prioritized 90-day plan without someone spelling out each step

  • Comfortable managing people — giving feedback, holding deadlines, unblocking a writer who's stuck

  • Confident working cross-functionally — you're not intimidated by sitting across from sales and defending your numbers

  • Self-driven — you learn new tools and SEO shifts on your own, you don't wait to be trained


Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or B2B — understanding how organic content maps to a longer B2B sales cycle

  • Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, or similar
