Job Overview

The Head/Manager of Sales is responsible for building strong relationships with this digital platform's existing and prospective customers and capitalizing on the value offered to the customers. Based on BANT terminology, you must target specific customer groups with prospective and existing customers. You must document interactions and schedule time to understand the customer's inventory storage and distribution requirements. The role will also require frequent outreach activities and developing business proposals and presentations with the given resources. This position will be based at the Wareflex office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this role, you will support the founders with the demand side of logistics and technology services in Vietnam.

Purpose

This is a new role and will contribute, strengthen, and coordinate our proactive approach to the overall business development function, identifying new and emerging opportunities, developing value-added offerings, developing new partnerships, and adding value to the existing skills in the team. The primary purpose of this role is to support our revenue generation through a range of sales activities to grow and support our existing products and services, which deliver our vision, values, and ambitions for a resilient supply chain in the Vietnamese market & beyond.

Roles and responsibilities:

● Full P/L responsibilities

● Identify and make initial communication with the target customers and maintaining professional and business-driven relations with the customers

● Classifying customer inventory storage and distribution requirements and providing the value-driven solution leveraging the technology and existing strengths of Wareflex

● Assess and analyze the potential to grow and adapt existing services and products.

● Development and implementation of a business development plan

● Working collaboratively across the organization to achieve desired goals around business development.

● Lead generation with the targeted customer groups and companies and ensure their smooth onboarding

● Ensure every transaction is executed without any compliance risk and with the highest level of customer satisfaction.

● Keep organized information on the progress of activities and provide regular update

● Any other tasks as the start-up grows in new verticals and the markets

Essential skills Requirements:

● Exceptional managerial and leadership skills.

● Analytical skills, ability to understand complex issues and communicate them effectively, verbally and in writing

● Ability to persuade and influence, including influencing senior people internally and externally • Ability to deliver high-quality presentations and pitches

● Project management skills; ability to coordinate complex and multiple projects, delivering to a high standard

● Highly organized and able to develop systems and processes, prioritize, schedule tasks, and manage and resolve workload conflicts

● Able to motivate and develop the team, work across teams, and build effective working relationships internally and externally while modeling our equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.

Desired Background

● 5+ Years of similar experience in a well-known company based in Vietnam

● Previous experience in the LogTech Startup or multinational 3PL company based in Vietnam

● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese (this is non-negotiable)

● Able to start ASAP

● Graduate degree in the related field from a top University in Vietnam/Abroad

● Knowing logistics procurements and operation management software is advantageous
