Role Overview

The Senior Social Media Manager plays a crucial role in executing and supporting the social media strategy of the organization. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating engaging content, monitoring social media channels, and assisting in the development of comprehensive social media campaigns. The individual in this role will contribute to building and maintaining a positive online presence while ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Content Creation: Develop and curate creative and compelling content for various social media platforms. Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency and alignment with brand messaging.

2. Community Engagement: Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Foster relationships with followers and influencers to enhance brand advocacy.

3. Social Media Monitoring: Monitor social media channels for trends, industry news, and competitor activity. Utilize social media listening tools to gather insights and identify opportunities for engagement.

4. Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of social media campaigns. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media strategies with broader marketing initiatives.

5. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media efforts.Prepare regular reports detailing social media performance and provide actionable insights.

6. Stay Informed: Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure proactive approach to social media management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management or a related role at least 3 years of experience
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics tools, and content creation tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design aesthetics.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
