Role Overview

The Creative Design Officer is responsible for driving innovative and visually compelling design solutions across all brand touchpoints. This role involves creating and maintaining brand consistency while conceptualizing and executing creative campaigns, product launches, and marketing assets. The officer collaborates closely with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to ensure high-quality designs that align with brand identity. Key responsibilities include crafting creative directions, refining existing designs, and producing assets for digital platforms, offline events, and activations, ensuring designs are clean, grid-aligned, and engaging.

Responsibilities

  1. E-Commerce Design:
  • Develop banners, thumbnails, and other visuals for Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada, and livestream promotions.
  • Ensure designs are optimized for readability and align with platform-specific grid systems.
  1. POSM Design:
  • Create offline promotional materials, including posters, flyers, and event backdrops.
  • Design mockups for merchandise such as tote bags, stickers, and other giveaways.
  1. Brand Consistency:
  • Ensure all designs align with BASE’s brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all channels.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing and event teams to understand campaign goals and deliver impactful designs.
  • Revise designs based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of assets.
  1. Innovation:
  • Proactively suggest creative ideas to enhance campaign visuals and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Creative Visual Design, Marketing Communication, or a related field.
  • Have experience as Graphic Designer in FMCG, Retail, Beauty Industry, or Creative Studio Agency is an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • A creative mind with strong ideation skills who can communicate ideas clearly both visually and verbally
  • A Strong sense of design layout, attention to detail and well versed in beautiful typography and how to use it.
  • A finger on the pulse. You can spot design trends and would know how to make them relevant to our brand
  • Experience with color proofing and fine print quality and digital mechanical specifications, ad material specs, color profiles, and color CMYK & RGB color workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative in a changing environment
  • Strong understanding of digital and print file handling
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and effectively take on feedback throughout the design process
  • You have excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills
  • Fastidious attention to detail and quality
