Role Overview

The Packaging & Retail Creative is responsible for develop and support the design and execution of packaging and retail concepts that align with the brand's identity and consumer needs. Contributing fresh, innovative ideas while ensuring projects meet functional and aesthetic standards.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role involves developing packaging designs, retail displays, and in-store visuals that enhance customer experiences and drive sales. Has a strong design foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design Innovative Packaging: Develop creative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing packaging solutions that reflect the brand’s identity and resonate with target consumers.
  • Enhance Retail Experiences: Create engaging retail displays, in-store graphics, and point-of-sale materials that elevate the customer journey and drive sales.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the brand’s visual guidelines and storytelling across packaging and retail touchpoints.
  • Customer-Centric Design: Prioritize functionality and user experience in packaging and retail concepts to meet consumer needs and expectations.
  • Prototyping and Production: Oversee the prototyping process, material selection, and vendor coordination to ensure designs are executed and met the standard.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with brand creative, product development, and commercial teams to deliver cohesive retail-creative projects.
  • Trend Exploration: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design innovations to inspire fresh ideas for packaging and retail projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial/Product Design, Packaging Design or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in design fields: graphic, product, packaging, or retail; preferably within consumer goods, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with 3D design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Blender, Cinema 4D)
  • Understanding of packaging materials, printing techniques, and production processes.
  • Understand the various types of materials commonly used to display products on retailer shelves.
  • Strong sense of aesthetics and ability to translate brand guidelines into compelling designs.
  • Experienced in the production process, including creating dielines & technical drawing, reviewing prototypes, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all designs meet brand standards and production specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Team player with the ability to contribute ideas in cross-functional settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to create compelling presentations and convey creative ideas.
  • Interest in industry trends, retail design innovations, and consumer behavior.
  • Able to adapt to priorities and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
