TL;DR: Seeking a Growth Catalyst who is part GTM engineer, part brand creative — to design and own the PLG motion for both candidates and companies at Proof-of-Skill. This role is pivotal for our zero-to-one journey as we establish our founding team.
Proof-of-Skill is a verified hiring network where every candidate carries a proof stack (identity, experience, skill, education) and every match is earned, not gamed. our AI hiring agent Yoshi handles candidate intake, assessment, and coordination. organizations shortlist candidates based on Proof-of-Skill credentials — not resumes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- You have done B2B SaaS sales before. Plus points if you've done HR tech or marketplace sales before
- You can design the PLG flywheel for both sides of the network — candidates and companies — and execute it from scratch
- You are truth + insight seeking and can build a sharp understanding of the HR tech and hiring market
- You can automate outbound, nurture, and onboarding workflows using Clay, Apollo, n8n — no engineers required
- You can create content that performs — posts, short-form video, brand campaigns, founder-voice — and lead brand strategy end-to-end
If you've previously taken a SaaS product from zero to first 100 paying customers, that's a huge plus
Responsibilities:
- Design and own the PLG loop — figure out how candidates and companies pull each other into the network, then build the system that scales it
- Get the next 500 companies onto Proof-of-Skill
- Build and run outbound + inbound sequences; own pipeline from first touch to closed
- Create the collateral that makes a cold company say yes — one-pagers, case studies, demo flows, explainers
- Lead brand strategy — own the voice, aesthetic, and positioning across all channels
- Discover the right GTM fit via continuous + rapid iteration; kill what doesn't work, double what does
Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Systems thinker — every manual thing you do twice becomes an automation
- Sharp creative with a point of view on brand; can write a post and brief a designer and knows the difference
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate contracts
- High agency is not a trait for you, it's a baseline — you find a way or you find a different way
