We’re looking for an exceptional Solutions Engineer to join our team in Stockholm.

In this role, you will work closely with the founding team to make customers successful. Our customers are some of the best data & analytics teams around, and they are looking to partner with us for guidance and advice.

You’ll play a big part in taking Steep from a fast-growing Nordic startup to a global category-defining company. You’ll join a small, smart, high-performing team that is passionate about what we do.

What you’ll do

• Run technical demos for potential customers – tailored, crisp, and confident

• Lead customer trainings and handle live Q&A (often large sessions, up to ~100 attendees)

• Partner with customers to provide help and guidance in calls and shared slack channels

• Partner with sales to prep demos, shape narratives, and provide guidance on deeper questions

• Own customer enablement: onboarding sessions, webinars, walkthroughs, and best-practice materials

• Turn what you learn into leverage: document recurring questions, improve training content, and feed product insights back to the team

What we’re looking for

• Analytics/Data experience: You’ve worked in analytics/data roles (e.g., consultant, analyst, analytics engineer, data engineer) and you understand modern data stacks (BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, etc)

• BI tool experience: You’re comfortable with BI tools and concepts (metrics, dimensions, modeling, SQL, visualizations, governance, etc)

• Presentation skills: You’re excellent at live demos and presentations – you can think on your feet and keep things super clear

• Teaching skills: You can teach groups with mixed skill levels and keep trainings engaging and structured

• Communication: You write and speak excellent English

• Organized work: you can run well-structured sessions, follow up on actions, and keep stakeholders aligned without dropping threads

Bonus points for

• Experience of semantic models, semantic layers, and the Steep platform

• Experience creating scalable content (slides, docs, playbooks, short videos)
