Steep is growing fast and we are looking for an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer to help us build and scale a high-performing modern marketing function.
The Role
Your mandate is to generate high-quality demand that converts into pipeline and revenue. You’ll own the strategy and execution of campaigns that don’t just look good on paper, but deliver measurable results.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll apply your full skillset from day one, build momentum, and scale the team over time.
We’ve laid the groundwork for your success: a product customers genuinely love, a clearly defined ICP, and a strong brand. This is a rare opportunity to build a world-class marketing function from the ground up at a fast-moving startup with global ambitions.
What you’ll do
Build and scale programs that consistently generate qualified pipeline across content, paid, outbound, and events
Own pipeline targets and marketing’s contribution to revenue
Build the foundation for a world-class marketing function by applying your skills hands-on
Hire and lead a high-performing marketing team once a repeatable engine is in place
Develop clear, differentiated messaging that drives engagement and conversion
Experiment and double down on what works, cut what doesn’t
What we’re looking for
A proven operator who has built or scaled demand generation in B2B SaaS
Experience of leading modern marketing teams with high standards for execution and quality
Strong marketing craft and intuition for what actually drives pipeline
Experience working closely with sales in a revenue-driven environment
Comfortable being hands-on and executing yourself, not just managing
